Mesa Community College – Mesa, Arizona – Sociology Major, Psychology Minor

Shooting/Firearms Experience
Besides Air Force Exp.
Started competition shooting in Arizona, in the early 80’s (USPSA)
learining from several shooters such as Lyle Wing and Rob Leatham
Returned to Maryland in 1988,
Formed USPSA Club in Salisbury MD, (Eastern Shore Practical Shooting Alliance)
1992-1998. Held monthly matches at what is now Nanticoke shooting range.
After a long break, started shooting again in 2010—To Present.
Hosting 2 and 3 gun matches and steel matches, at a friends private range in Denton, Maryland
2013 – Joined Bridgeville Rifle and Gun Club
Started BKK Firearms (FFL Licensee—2013 – Present).

Current Rank: 8th Degree Black Belt – American Kenpo Karate Int’l1973-1974
Bushin Kai Karate 1974-1988
American Kenpo Karate – Started training in IKKA Kenpo in 1974
Under Fred Stille, and others Opened Mesa Kenpo Karate ,1978. Also trained with
American Kenpo Karate Founder, Sr. Grand Master Ed Parker, off and on from
1982-1990.
Trained under Jeff Speakman – Star of the Movie : The Perfect Weapon, and Brian
Heins—from 1991-1995.
1996– Present – Training with Ed Parker Protégé’, Sr. Master Paul Mills, 10th Degree
Black Belt, Founder of American Kenpo Karate International
1996– Present : AKKI Regional Representative for: Maryland, Virginia, N. & S.
Carolina and Tennessee.
Also Studied – Aikido and Shorei Ryu Karate, as well as taught Aerobic Kickboxing.

1964-2002 – Musician, played in bands, lead guitarist, trumpet, lead vocalist

1975-1977 – Security/Bodyguard – Compton Terrace Concert Venue – Tempe AZ.
1979-1983 – Security – Tropicana Hotel and Casino—Las Vegas, Nevada

1983-1988 – Professional Celebrity Bodyguard – Phoenix/Tempe, AZ
